Annual Exhibition![]() Winter in the Park by Keith Erskine
The Annual Exhibition has been a regular feature throughout the life of the society giving members the chance to show their work to a wider audience.
AV Competition
A competition is held annually, usually in the spring, where members are invited to submit sequences of no longer than 5 minutes in duration, which are judged by an experienced AV worker or workers. Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third placed entries, with the Telford Cup going to the winner.
Competition results for 2010-2011: First Malcolm and Jenny Gee for ‘Vintage Reds’ Second Norman Carmichael for ‘Hungary 2009’ Third Hazel Davidson for ‘Art Factory’ |
Photographer of the Year
NDPS POTY is run over four rounds most of which are themed - this year we are saving the last round for open entry. Each member is invited to enter two images either as prints or digital projections in colour or monochrome and these are assessed by invited judges who mark each image out of ten.
Only a few weeks to the start of this year's rounds of POTY - what and when? On the POTY page we'll keep you up-to-date with news about each round and include tips for entering - see POTY TRAINING! This is 'The Reader' - one of last year's winning entries by Andy Swain Click here for the POTY page. |
